SharpThought™ Quality Management
Any program of significance does not exist in a vacuum. A program is created
in a preexisting environment that includes the past (existing users, data, and
interfaces), the present (desired expectations), and the future (long term
vision). Satisfying the goals of all three entails providing a functional and
usable product that meets the needs of the users, can interact with currently
existing environments, and is sufficiently flexible in design to exist upon
(and adapt to changes in) a planned vision. Providing a product meeting these
goals therefore entails satisfying three sets of quality standards.
The Alterion SharpThought processes implement particular activities
necessary to ensure the maintenance of quality throughout the program life
cycle. The SharpThought Quality Management process provides a framework for
the execution of these processes. Through the use of the Quality Management
framework, individual SharpThought processes are managed and executed in a
coordinated manner, and results are communicated between parties in an
appropriate form. The Quality Management processes ensure that a consistent
and thorough level of quality is maintained throughout the program life
cycle.
